Fermented Veggies 101 Sunday, October 9, 2022| 1-3pm | Deadline to register: Oct 2 by 4pm $40/person Ages 12+ Fermenting vegetables is a great way to preserve your food while also adding nutrition and flavor! Participants in this lecture-based class will learn basic techniques and recipes for easy vegetable fermentation, including sauerkraut, pickles, and kim chi. We will also cover tools and troubleshooting for fermentation beginners, as well as the health benefits and culinary uses for fermented veggies.
Students should bring a notebook/pen to take notes as desired. Laura will be able to answer questions and provide inspiration for future fermentation projects.
